About our School

The Long Overdue Theatre School is an Award Winning theatre school based in Andover, Hampshire. The School prides itself on Making The Arts Accessible allowing children from all backgrounds to access drama, singing and dancing and use these skills to develop their imagination, creativity and social skills.

The Long Overdue Theatre School was established in 2002 in conjunction with the Long Overdue Theatre Company, a professional touring company.

Between 2006 – 2012, Katie Manson and her husband Euan ran The Long Overdue Theatre School and took the school from strength to strength. We are very proud to say Katie is still working very hard as part of the teaching staff and is our Main School Drama teacher.

In 2010 Stefan Pearmain was introduced to the team and became the singing teacher. During this time Euan became a qualified teacher and was offered a teaching job at a local school which again left two members of staff. Katie was to teach drama and Stefan singing.

The year that followed saw a number of Dance Teachers work for Theatre School however in September 2011 Teoni Randell, a professional performer based in Andover came for an interview. We knew immediately that she would fit into the school perfectly and most importantly the pupils loved her. Teoni is still our dance teacher and we are very happy that she is part of the team.

In April 2012, Stefan took over the School and since then we have opened new classes and welcomed a number of new teachers including Katie Austwick and Suzanne Wilson as well as a number of assistants to The Long Overdue Theatre School.
